What is Rotary Day of Service?

On Saturday, May 18, 2024, more than 800 Rotary clubs and 30,000 Rotarians across 10 states and 5 countries, from Connecticut to Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, New Hampshire, Colorado, and Wyoming in the United States, plus the countries of Bermuda, Brazil, Canada, and England, will volunteer in their communities for an unprecedented Rotary Day of Service, collecting clothes for homeless, refurbishing parks, and much, much more.

If you’ve always wanted to find a way to give back to your community, this is your chance! You don’t have to be in Rotary to volunteer for the Day of Service. Click on the ‘Find Your Town’ tab above, or scroll down to find the project in your town and sign up. Once you do, your local club will be in touch.

Banner and T-Shirt Ordering/Distribution

The Day of Service T-Shirt order form is now live. Club Presidents and project contacts have been emailed the link directly. Email rotary7255pi@gmail.com for the link.

Shirts are $9.59 apiece from sizes Small to XL, $11.59 for 2XL, $13.59 for 3XL, and $15.59 for 4XL.

The deadline for ordering T-shirts is May 12, 2024!

Clubs must order the shirts in bulk through the website above. Club members cannot place orders for individual shirts. Orders can be picked up in Ronkonkoma or shipped directly to you for an additional cost. There is a 4 shirt order minimum for shipping

To order a banner please email rotary7255pi@gmail.com with the following information:

Club URL (can be website or Facebook handle)
Do you want a date strip sticker that says "May 18, 2024"

Banners will be available for pick-up in early May in Ronkonkoma.

Clubs who lost the banner received last year or wish to purchase additional banners can purchase banners for the cost of $55 + tax/shipping and $5 per date strip.

BANNER ORDERS ARE DUE NO LATER THAN FRIDAY, APRIL 26, 2024.

All first-time participating clubs in Day of Service will receive a free 3x5 ft banner from the District as thank-you for your participation!

The District will also be providing every participating club with a date strip sticker for their existing DOS banner. They can be picked up in Ronkonkoma. Email rotary7255pi@gmail.com to schedule a pick-up time.
