ABC’s of Rotary – that about says it all! For new members, learn about Rotary – our history, our customs and traditions, and the current status of our global programs. You’ll better understand The Object of Rotary, our Four Way Test of the Things We Think, Say, or Do, and of course Service Above self. In fact, all Rotarians, new and “experienced”, will gain greater insight into what it means to be part of the world’s first service organization. All registered attendees will also receive a copy of the “ABC’s of Rotary” pamphlet written by past Rotary International President Cliff Dochterman (1992-1993).

We’ll start by assembling at 2:00 pm at One Rotary Center, 1560 Sherman Avenue in Evanston, for a tour of Rotary Headquarters. Our ABC’s of Rotary presentation will take place in the 3rd floor auditorium of One Rotary Center from 3:00 – 5:00 pm. Then at 5:30 pm, the 3 districts of Northern Illinois Rotary (6420, 6440, and 6450) will host a reception for ABC’s of Rotary attendees together with the Rotary International Directors, Directors-elect, President line (President, Vice-President, President-Elect, and President-Nominee), and senior staff.

Registration is limited to the first 187 participants due to the capacity of the auditorium.
