The district is promoting membership growth by adding some incentives to clubs that take an active interest in growing membership in Rotary. The clubs that grow by the greatest percentage will receive a $1,000 award from the district. The award will be given to clubs in a small, medium and large club category.
To be eligible clubs must meet the following: Membership Chair in place and reported as a club officer in rotary6040.org; The Club must have held a membership facilitation event with a trained district facilitator; and have reported to the district at least one attraction strategy and one engagement strategy they will be using in their club.
Clubs are being broken down in sizes. Small clubs are less than 30 members, medium clubs are 30-50 members and large clubs are greater than 50 members.
