Scott Farmer was the recipient of the Richmond Rotary Club Lifetime Achievement Award on August 9th, 2019.  The entire club met at their usual location for their lunch meeting, then went to Scott’s house to give him his award and to visit with him.  Each member had a Scott story to tell.  Scott was instrumental in getting the club's Reverse Raffle off the ground thirteen years ago and with its continued success over the years.  He participated in every project from picking up trash to ringing the bell for the Salvation Army.  Scott was a kind soul.  He was so loved by the community and by his fellow Rotarians.

Scott took down the picture of his grand-kids behind the TV at his house so the Rotarian Picture could be hung in it’s place.  That tells me that he loved it.   Scott passed away a week after receiving this award.
