On February 2nd, over 120 Rotary Club of Dallas members and friends gathered at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children to help ensure that kids in the DFW community have access to a warm meal.
Working with the organization Feeding Children Everywhere, these volunteers packed 27,648 jambalaya meals in less than two hours through teams set up in assembly lines (that may have been just a little bit competitive.)  This project was hands-on, high-impact and high-energy!

The meals will be distributed locally through the non-profit Mission Metroplex.  This is the seventh year the Rotary Club of Dallas has hosted a hunger-related project.
