Our own District Governor Sandy Forster has been elected to serve a three year term on the board of directors for the Water and Sanitation Rotary Action Group. (WASRAG) www.startwithwater.org or www.wasrag.org.
"I had already committed to Glen Rowe and John Moser to be part of their teams for our District Rotary Foundation
and grants, so know I will also gladly help with water related projects for clubs in our district.
For those who may not know, the model for sustainable grants developed by WASRAG's Operations Committee is the prototype RI General Secretary John Hewko requested TRF use for educating clubs and districts on how to develop club & district global grants. I have served on the WASRAG Operations Committee for the past four years and WASRAG's Strategic Planning committee prior to that.
So yes, I'm pretty excited about this opportunity."
