St. Luke’s Seeks Donated Crutches

COVID-19 supply chain disruptions are limiting crutch supplies

Community members may drop off new or gently used crutches at St. Luke’s clinics and medical centers listed below Nov. 29 through Jan. 3

BOISE, Idaho – Ongoing supply chain issues due to the COVID-19 pandemic have led to shortages in aluminum. As a result, St. Luke’s Health System is asking community members to donate new or gently used crutches, particularly adult crutches, that are not being used that then will support patients in need.

Starting Monday, Nov. 29, crutches may be dropped off at the St. Luke’s clinics and medical centers listed below during standard business hours, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. St. Luke’s will accept crutches Nov. 29 through Jan. 3.

Donations of more than five pairs of crutches at a time can be dropped off at the St. Luke’s Boise Medical Center shipping and receiving building, 330 N. 2nd St., Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to noon.
