District 5400 Leadership Summits - But Not What You Think
Are you a leader in your club? If you answered ‘No’ you may be both right and wrong. We believe every Rotarian is a leader you just might not be in a defined club leadership role. Every club member is invited to attend our leadership summits and learn more about being a leader in Rotary.

DG Russel Johnson asked the district Learning & Development Team to develop sessions that could include the other current as well as future club leaders. The L&D Team has put together a series of half day summits:

“Followership to Leadership – Becoming an Agent of Change,”
o    Join Leaders, Share Ideas and Take Actions
o    Introduce or reintroduce topics that will not only help current club leaders but will give some insight to future club leaders.
o    Become an agent of change.
o    Hear overviews of defined club leadership roles, strategic planning / goal setting, creating a vision for the future and new thoughts on service projects as well as other club activities.
o    Opportunities to share ideas on specific topics such as membership, strategic plans / goals and take actionable ideas back to your clubs.
We are planning on four sessions –
•    September 25 in Ontario
•    October 2 in Twin Falls
•    October 16 in Pocatello
•    Boise on either November 6 or the 4th in the evening.
•    All the sessions will be on a Saturday morning except for the Boise area as we would like to experiment with an even session.
•    Please mark your calendar for one of these sessions and plan to attend along with as many of your fellow club members as want to learn more about leadership at all levels of Rotary.
Come and join us as we share some leadership ideas, develop plans, and continue to improve how we serve our communities. We believe that when the sessions are completed that those who attend will be agents of change and will be better prepared to Serve to Change Lives. Who knows, the live that is changed may be your own.

Keep looking for additional information in your inbox regarding locations, times, and cost as we make the final arrangements.

NOTE: Dates and venues may need to be changed to follow state and local health regulations.

Yours in Rotary,
