Rotary Gives Thanks

Save the date and RSVP:   Rotary Gives Thanks is on Saturday, May 6th 8:00am-1:00pm with Pizza Party immediately after. We will be at the Senior Center in Pleasanton (5353 Sunol Blvd, Pleasanton, CA 94566) at 8am.   Please bring your tools, gloves, Windex, etc.

As you know each year we provide a great service to Seniors in our community through Rotary Gives Thanks. 

Rotary Gives Thanks is a service project where we provide an outreach to Seniors in the Pleasanton Community.  We coordinate our efforts with the Senior Center who will identify 50-60 Senior families who need help with some household chores.  These include washing windows, flipping beds, some trimming, and other small items such as cleaning blinds.  Unfortunately we do not have time for repairs that would require highly skilled craftsman like plumbing, electrical etc.  In addition, we are not there to take on massive projects of time and effort which would take up so much time that our volunteers would not be able to serve other Seniors.
