Hillsborough Rotary’s Military and Veteran’s Appreciation Day Postponed Until October 10

Due to anticipated inclement weather this weekend, the Rotary Club of Hillsborough has decided to postpone its Military and Veteran’s Appreciation Day celebration until Saturday, October 10, from 1 to 5 PM.

“All of the planned attractions, from vintage aircraft to tethered hot air balloon rides, have been rescheduled for the new date,” commented Hillsborough Rotary Club President, John Shockley.  “We are not only offering the community a fun family event, but we are honoring our military for their service.”

The Military and Veteran’s Appreciation Day event will be held at the Central Jersey Regional Airport in Hillsborough at 1034 Millstone River Road. Admission is free. Participating organizations include Operation Shoebox New Jersey and Operation Chill Out.  Both organizations will host displays at the event where donated items can be dropped off.

Further information is available by calling Hillsborough Rotary President John Shockley, 732-522-6178 or TriState Aviation at 908-576-4333
