Follow your passion to accomplish a great good in local and global communities with the
La Jolla Golden Triangle Rotary Club

The La Jolla Golden Triangle Rotary is part of Rotary International, a worldwide organization of business and professional leaders that provides humanitarian service, encourages high ethical standards in all vocations, and helps build goodwill and peace in the world. Approximately 1.2 million Rotarians belong to more than 32,000 clubs in more than 200 countries.

Chartered in 1986 during the formative years of the La Jolla Golden Triangle region (San Diego County), the Rotary Club associated with the growth and dynamics of this renowned area has become one of Rotary International's most highly accomplished clubs.

The La Jolla Golden Triangle Rotary Club is an organization of approximately 100 enthusiastic men and woman united in fellowship providing a broad range of humanitarian service and building lasting goodwill locally and globally.

Unabashedly self-proclaimed as the most dynamic Rotary Club in the world, La Jolla Golden Triangle Rotary is consistently one of the top-performing clubs not only in the San Diego/Imperial Counties District, but indeed in the world.  The club consistently develops projects to improve health, well-being and self-sufficiency in our surrounding communities and beyond.  Recent success includes:
  • Operation Pendleton: refurbishing barracks and meeting facilities at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton.
  • Afghanistan Redevelopment: building schools, technology & other centers at university, and community-building programs in Jalalabad, Afghanistan.
  • South Africa Improvements: developing water projects and healthcare programs for AIDS orphans.
  • Rotarians at Work Day: annual, hands-on community service event where club members complete a transformative local service project in a single day.
Those who have joined La Jolla Golden Triangle Rotary Club have found it a nurturing culture of fellowship that encourages members to follow personal and collective passions for service.  Achievement-oriented professionals, business and community leaders contribute to and benefit from the club's highly-charged environment to implement positive, life-changing initiatives. This service oriented ethic leverages a connection to the broad resources of Rotary International, allowing club members to accomplish goals, experience intrinsic rewards, and have fun while doing good for others

The club funds programs and projects through an array of resources.  Each year, a popular fundraising event attracts hundreds of attendees for fine food, entertainment, wine/beer/spirits, and an extraordinary silent auction. Proceeds of this event and other fundraising activities are maximized through a variety of Rotary International grant matching programs and applied to charitable priorities identified by committed club members.
