From November 2016 through April 2017, Club 13 has participated in a campaign to raise funds for The Rotary Foundation in honor of its 100th Anniversary. The Rotary Foundation transforms donations into projects that change lives both close to home and around the world. This Legacy Campaign ended with a celebration dinner on April 30th for those who made a direct contribution or a bequest. Marc Horner served on the Legacy planning committee, Sherri Hahn was the Dinner Event Coordinator and Dick Retrum supplied materials for the Dinner. Tom Davis, Duane Benton, Marc Horner and Sally Bibb served on the Club 13 Legacy Campaign committee.

The outcome of the campaign was a great success with the District raising $3,327,535.78 for the Rotary Foundation.  Club 13 made a great showing both in the number of contributors and the amount raised. Thirteen Rotarians made either a direct contribution or a bequest: Jan Armstrong, Rick Beyer, Sally Bibb, Woody Davis, Sherri Hahn, Marc Horner, Jonathan Kemper, Howard Mick, Linn Mills, Dave Norton, Dick Retrum, Ron Trachsel plus an Anonymous donor. Together we raised an outstanding $740,750!  A special Thank You to the generous Rotarians from Club 13.
