Brighton Gardens in Prairie Village was the birthplace of a friendship between Walter “Chip” Dickey (left) and George Sayles (right), who met Santa Claus (portrayed by Rick Stuart) at the senior community’s Breakfast with Santa event on Dec. 7. Dickey, 80, of Prairie Village, retired from Hallmark as a tax solution attorney. Sayles, 92, hails from Kansas City. The Navy veteran, 92, retired from General Motors where he worked for 40 years.
