Saturday and Sunday were beautiful days to be at the Zoo, and the children in their Halloween costumes were delightful as we handed out Foam Masks of Zoo Animals. Both times I have volunteered for Boo at the Zoo I have enjoyed the family interaction, and the polite, sweet super heroes, princesses and goblins from across Kansas City. Every one of them said, “Thank you!” and were pleasant and cheerful. It made me happy to be there and see the diversity of people of our beautiful city in such a lovely atmosphere. If you missed it, please join in next year. It is a great family event for you and your children or grandchildren.
Volunteering were: Saturday- David McCaughey, Jan Armstrong, Glenn Crawford, Matt and Katherine Meyer and Christy Chester. Sunday- Craig Bittner, Barbara and Larry Dolci and Mary Kingsley and Linn Mills who graciously worked 2 shifts.
