The New Voices for Youth program at Menlo-Atherton High School visits PAUR

Ana Angel and Tanuj Chopra of New Voices for Youth, Menlo-Atherton High School, visited our group and told us about their program whose mission is to provide students with media production training in order to create their own original documentaries on issues of importance to them. They believe that when young people understand the power of media outreach, they are more likely to get involved in various causes.  The program successfully builds the students' skills such as public speaking, grassroots activism, team building, research, writing and media production.  We applaud the efforts of New Voices for Youth!
