Visiting Rotarians: Gordon Wilmot announced that there were no visitors today.
 
 
ANNOUNCEMENTS:  Chad Bjorklund 50/50 Raffle – $619 in the pot; 36 cards left.  Tom Sweeney had the winning ticket but did not pick the Queen of Hearts.
 
Bill Palmisciano – Thanks to everybody who donated money for the sashes.  They will be ordered next week.
 
Fred Colardo – Quidnesset County Club – would be with other parties.  Thursday, December 17th.  Price $48 per person.  Buffet dinner and the band Those Guys.

District meeting this Saturday, October 3 in Warren for Disaster Recovery.  8 AM – 2 PM.  See Ed if interested.

Steve Tilley (needs change) – Son is in infantry officer training in Fort Benning, GA.  Will be visiting him over holiday weekend.
 
Robin Lovely – Just spent two weeks in France.  Spent time with granddaughter – who gave her a great time.

Owned by Anthony and his wife Tina.  Opened variety store in 1982 on Budlong Road.
 
Opened the restaurant in 1986 on Park Avenue in Cranston.
 
Made a lot of mistakes early on.
 
Switched from counter service to full service.
 
Now 100 employees and three restaurants.
 
Opened in East Greenwich in 2008 with the help of his brother-in-law.
 
Joined Providence Art Club 23 years ago.
 
Sells~ 60 – 80 paintings each year.
 
Also teaches adults to paint.
 
Painting is not relaxing because it is very challenging.
