ANNOUNCEMENTS:  Janis Constantine – March 11 Gourmet Gala – tickets are available for sale.  $25 Rotarians for 4 tickets; $35 for non-Rotarians.  $40 at the door, but we are discouraging selling tickets at the door.  See Janis for tickets.  Have some corporate sponsorships, but need more.  Restaurants are coming in, but need more.
Bill Palmisciano – May Breakfast.  Business card ad with check.  8 tickets plus ad = $100.  10/10/10 members = $20.  Send checks to Dan Scanlon, Sr.
Ed McDonough – Please keep Chris Rassol in your thoughts and prayers.  Undergoing another round of chemo.
Steve Hinger – 50/50 Raffle Aaron (guest) had the winning ticket, but did not pick the Queen of Hearts.
Rotary Leadership Institute in Lincoln.  Classes 1, 2, and 3.  Graduating class.  Good way to know what’s coming up.

Vanessa Zampini - $24 for 24 years at Washington Trust.  Starting new job at Centerville Bank.
Dave Campanella – Oldest son Alex (23) landed in Chili yesterday for backpack trek.

Mark McHugh – For the Patriots.
Bob Haigh – Grandson won $1,000 in Warwick Calendar Raffle.  His mom confiscated the check.  Maybe grandson will get $50 of the $1,000.  Maybe not?
Christine Harkins – For the Pats.
Dennis Sleister – Glad to be back.  Was in Tampa, FL during the blizzard of 2015.  Fly out tomorrow – will miss next snow storm.
Guest Speaker – Two sons from New York came home to watch Pats game with Dad.  God heard his prayers for a Pats win.
Kenny Quaranto - $35 snow dollars.  Sorry for the snow dance at the beginning of winter.  42 hours to clean up Blizzard of 2015.  More snow on the way!
Kristin Acciari – Hosting first event at Yoga studio.  February 21st 1 PM at new location at 659 Sandy Lane.
Bill Palmisciano – Mother-in-Law gave him a hat just like Kenny’s for Christmas.
Steve Tilley – Putting together a list of volunteers to work at new member table at the Gourmet Gala.

SPEAKER:  Dr. Satya, Worcester Rotary Club.
Has brought over 70 members into Rotary.  Worcester Rotary is 103 years old.
When he became President in 2012, told the club he would bring in 50 new members.
Three Categories:
• Seniors
• Soldiers – “Workers” who will do projects
• Celebrators – Well known in community.  Mayor, Head of Chamber of Commerce, other dignitaries
“Let’s make Rotary the talk of the town.”
“What have I done for my club?”
Bring one new member into Rotary.  Just 1.  We all have friends who would be interested in Rotary.
“1 Request: Bring a guest.”
“Member per Member”
Use media – radio, TV, newspaper.  Send press release anytime $ is donated.
Announce weekly speakers to the community.
82 new members during his year of Presidency.
Be remembered as someone who made a difference.
