On March 12, 2019 Jan van Glabbeek joined RB Sunrise Rotary Club. New members receive a red badge. Jan has been a very enthusiastic new member. He has gone to meetings and has quickly done all the things that are necessary for him to earn his status as full member of our club. In fact, Jan has done this in just seven weeks!
On April 30, 2019, in recognition of his extraordinary diligence in fulfilling all of his new member requirements, Jan was awarded his membership plaque and his blue member badge. To witness this achievement, Jan brought with him his wife, Thea and his son, Gerrit Jan van Glabbeek and his wife, Kelly.
Jan has been a very enthusiastic new Rotarian. He says that one of the significant things he has already done since he joined is to participate in building a house in one day a few weeks ago when he traveled to Mexico on our club's project in Mexico. We are looking forward to having Jan use his vast business experience and his gregarious personality to help us with our efforts to make the world a better place. Congratulations, Jan !
