At the January 24, 2017 meeting of the RB Sunrise Rotary Club, Judith Tronsrue presented Andy Martinichev with a Student of the Month award and gift card from the RB Sunrise Rotary Club. 

 

His teacher, Carol DeBraun, spoke about Andy being her teacher’s aide and tutoring students in math.  She went on to say that he earned 50 credits in nine weeks and is great is science and math.  Andy has just turned 18 and is still considering his options regarding future goals in higher education.  His parents, Angrey and Liya Martinichev also attended the presentation.  Congratulations Andy!

 

 

 

Kevin Paulson, Evan Bakke, and Jeb Bakke

At the January 24, 2017 breakfast meeting, Kevin Paulson and Jeb Bakke were welcomed as newest members of the RB Sunrise Rotary Club.  Both Kevin and Jeb received a new member red badge and plaque.

 

Kevin owns his own insurance agency selling home and auto insurance in the Rancho Bernardo community for over 30 years.  

 

Jeb Bakke is a former member of the RB Sunrise Rotary Club.  He was also previously a member of the Poway Rotary Club.  Jeb is the Senior Vice President of CBRE, a property management company.

The Paul Harris Fellow recognition award acknowledges individuals who contribute, or who have contributions made in their name, of US$1,000 to The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International.  It was established in 1957 to show appreciation for and encourage substantial contributions.
