PNR Website Updates are Picture-Perfect

Photo slideshows on PNR’s Clubrunner website (www.pnr-rotary.orgr) have been revised and expanded.

The shows will let you see how good everyone looked at A Starry Night and how happy we were to prepare and serve Saturday night dinner at East Bay Stand Down.

The El Oasis 2011 show introduces you to many of the 85 children at the orphanage who need our love and support. With the addition of Jerry Pentin’s photos, this is the most comprehensive review yet on the 2011 trip. You can see this four-day trip to Ensenada and the Baja desert was one extraordinary after another. It was even kind of cool when we were shopping in Tijuana to watch Don Routh negotiate the purchase of 85 pairs of children’s shoes.

Don will speak to the club on Friday about the importance of PNR’s relationship with El Oasis and your role in continuing its proud history.  The 2012 trip is planned for Nov. 29 to Dec. 2. Participants are asked to contact Southwest Airlines (www.southwest.com) for flights from Oakland to San Diego (Flight #1059 on Nov. 29) and back to Oakland (Flight #3014 on Dec. 2).
