Again this year, the annual Starry Night gala was a resounding success.

This year’s event was sold out more than a week before the party began, and a more than 210 people enjoyed the evening, raising funds for local and international causes.

Surpassing last year’s attendee numbers by more than 40, this year’s event raised more than $46,000. This year’s Fund-a-Need is Agape Villages, and PNR Foundation will donate $15,000 to the extremely worthy charity organization.

A highlight of the evening was a speech by Austin Stoker, with Agape Villages, who was extremely impactful and had many people choking up. The former US Airman, now beginning his professional career, shared his courageous story with attendees, and discussed taking the hand that life dealt him, and making something significant for himself.

The PNR Foundation is currently reviewing grant applications, and will make additional grant recipient decisions shortly. To be included in the upcoming allocations are local grants, international grants, funds for Rotary International Foundation, and also to funds to grow the PNR Foundation.

We look forward to seeing you at next year’s gala, or supporting by donating auction items.
