Wine Tasting Group, Round 2

Our first Wine Tasting Group event at Cruise Holidays was a great evening of fun and learning!  We're doing another one!!   Please note that this event is limited to the first 30 people who register, due to space constraints.

What:  Wine Tasting, Round 2   Theme:  SOUTH AMERICAN WINES (be creative, think beyond Malbec!)  Please bring a bottle of your favorite South American wine or one you'd like to try.  We will provide glasses along with a variety of "palate cleansers" (snacks), etc.  

Where:  The home of Lee Morris and Susan Alexander (also known as the Hemme Ranch) 8284 22nd St. Perry Ks Directions:  Take US Hwy 24 east (toward Lawrence) from north Topeka, approx 11 miles, to Newman Rd (1/2 mile past th intersection with KS 237).  Turn north/left on Newman Rd & go 1/3 mile to stop sign at 22nd St.  Turn east/right on 22nd St. to the FIRST driveway on the left (between the red barn and the house).  We will have tours of the 150+ yr old barn and house for those interested.  This farm has been in continuous operation and occupied by the Hemme family since 1867!  The house, barn and one other building date from that year.  Please do NOT trust the map attached or your navigation system!  They have trouble finding us! 

When:  Wednesday, October 23, 2019, 5:30 p.m.  (wine tasting to start around 6:00) 

Why:   Just to have fun and get to know one another better!
