Two outstanding Duncanville High School students are spending part of their summer at a Rotary International-sponsored leadership camp.

Micah Williams and Chris Soto were selected from a group of candidates to attend Camp RYLA from August 2, 2015 - August 7, 2015.

All candidates from DHS are exemplary.  However, Micah and Chris stood out; not because of their +3.6 GPA, school participation, or the fact that they are natural leaders.  But because each exhibited a passion and desire for wanting to make a difference in the world and serving others.  Both understand "Service Above Self"!

Congratulations to you both and we at Rotary Duncanville are glad to be a part of your leadership development!

A big thank you to Rotarian Linda Whitman and her husband Arch for driving Micah and Chris to RYLA located at Hoblitzelle campgrounds;  and to Rotarian Tom Kennedy and his wife Sherry for picking them up after camp.
