Social Emotional Learning and Emotional Intelligence: What's the Connection?

Wade Whitmer is Founder and President of Eduperior, a non-profit company focused on improving communication skills to improve social emotional learning.  The company provides a cloud-based platform where educators and businesses can use or develop their own competency-based curricula.  The education platforms are used by schools, colleges, religious organizations, and businesses.  Mr. Whitmer is a businessman who during the past 35 years worked in his own company and assisted others in building their own companies.  He has always been interested in designing computer-aided equipment for the advancement of civilization.  Wade will be speaking Tuesday at 7:00 a.m. at the International Museum of Cultures.
