Robyn Wheeler loves going to work everyday. She calls it a unique and awesome place. Who wouldn't when you're headed to a place with more than 40 exotic wild animals everyday?
 

Robyn Wheeler is the Media Relations person for PrideRock Wildlife Refuge, a non-profit refuge for wild and exotic animals that have been made homeless.

Working through her company Born Mad, LLC. Robyn is a writer and public speaker, living in Mabank. Through her company Born Mad, Robyn creates awareness about Dysthymic Disorder which is a rarely-talked about form of neurotic depression. Robyn also works for The Monitor of Cedar Creek Lake as reporter and typesetter. Robyn's passion for wildlife animals and captivity awareness came through a business she owned for fifteen years called CreatureTeacher, LLC. There she owned mammals, reptiles, insects and other creature and provided education in schools, at libraries and birthday parties.


Robyn is originally from Lakewood, California and graduated from Cal Poly Pomona with a degree in Animal Science in 1988.

She married five years ago to Ronald Wheeler, a retired Navy Corpsman.
