John Parker has been serving as the United States Attorney since December 2014.  As U.S. Attorney, he is responsible for all federal criminal prosecutions and civil litigation involving the United States in the North District of Texas, which covers 100 counties, over 95,000 square miles, and a population of approximately eight million.  Mr. Parker oversees a staff of approximately 100 attorneys and 115 support staff assigned among five division offices.

In his current office, Mr. Parker serves on several subcommittees of the Attorney General Advisory Committee including, Violent and Organized Crime, Terrorism and National Security, and Border and Immigration Law Enforcement, as well as the Environmental Issues Working Group.

He has chaired the Executive Committee of the North Texas Anti-Trafficking Task Force since 2012 and has served on the Executive Committee of the Texoma High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area Program since 2014.

Mr. Parker received his BA and MBA from the University of Dallas and his JD from Texas Tech University School of Law.
