Lunch Bunch is a monthly celebration hosted by Topeka South Rotary for students at Highland Park Central who are recognized by their teachers for showing positive behaviors. Each classroom selects one student, who is honored during a special pizza lunch where their certificate and the kind remarks written by their teacher are read aloud. Rotarian volunteers attend the lunch to sit with students, offer encouragement, and make the experience feel meaningful and personal. Every honoree also receives a donated book to take home, and all costs are covered by the Rotary club as part of its commitment to supporting students and strengthening the school community.
