At the weekly meeting on June 22, 2018, President Amanda Tietze welcomed the 48 members and 4 guests to the meeting.
 
Rotarian PP Dan Matthews gave the Invocation.
 
Rotarian Rich Dever provided the Rotofact.
 
Secretary Suzette Matthews welcomed the following guests to the meeting: Tonja Marshall (speaker); Taylor Molnar, daughter of Rotarian Jim Molnar; Betsey Lane, sister of Rotarian Steve Fettman; Jodi Fettman, wife of Rotarian Steve Fettman; and Joe McNamara, a Cuyahoga Falls Rotarian.
 
The "Happy News" was then provided by the following:
  • Dave Roberts:  to announce that he and fellow Rotarian Joe Niamtu, attended The 2018 Timken Alumni Association Distinguished Alumni dinner, where Rotarian Steve Fettman was honored as the Distinguished Alumni from the class of 1981;
 
  • Julia Dick:  invited all Rotarians to attend the Italian American Festival which will be held this weekend in downtown Canton;
 
  • PP Paul White:  encouraged all Rotarians to visit the Canton Classic Car Museum, which is a great museum in our own backyard.
 
 
Speaker Chair Julia Dick introduced the speaker, Tonja Marshall, Vice President of Marketing and Communication Visit Canton/Stark County Convention and Visitors Bureau;
 
President Amanda concluded the meeting with the following announcements:
  • next week's speaker will be John Street, who will be giving a presentation on Rotaplast.
 
The following Rotarian turned in a makeup during Friday's meeting:  Lynn Hamilton (Massillon)
 
The following Board of Directors will receive a makeup for attending the Board meeting on Tuesday, June 19, 2018: President Amanda Tietze, President-Elect Michelle Mullaly, Vice President Mark Rojek, Secretary Suzette Matthews, Treasurer Tom Clevenger, Sergeant-at-Arms Robert Matthews, Parliamentarian Bob Pattison and Asst. Parliamentarian Dave Ewing.  The 2017-18 Trustees attending were: Steve Fettman, Kurt Goodenberger, Bruce Schorsten, Bruce Hale, Drew Pelger, Don Peterson, Frank Fleischer and Bill Liber.  The 2018-19 Trustees attending were: Jim Molnar and Stephanie Werren.
