Randall and Kristy Pero are owners and operators of Pero Dairy Farm in East Canton. Randall is the third generation to own the farm that was started in 1950 by his grandparents. They milk 170 cows using the latest in modern technology with three Lely robotic milkers. The cows can access the robots up to six times a day, all on their own. Their milk is sold to Smith Dairy in Orville, Ohio.

Randall and Kristy, along with their six kids, perform all the daily tasks on the farm along with growing the crops needed to feed their herd. They farm about 500 acres of land harvesting hay, corn, and soybeans. The Pero’s also sell chicken, pork, and beef from their farm along with offering farm tours. They enjoy bringing consumers to the farm and educating the public on how their operation works. They strive every day to provide the best possible care for their animals while also being good stewards of the land and water that they use.

Randall and Kristy Pero will be speaking on "Using Robots on the Dairy Farm" and will conduct a live Zoom at the farm with video showing the robots at work.
