Past President Amanda Tietze, Chairwoman of the Rotary Scouts, will present the Scouts program this Friday.
 
Amanda Tietze has been employed by the Better Business Bureau since 1999 and is currently the Vice President of Operations.
 
Amanda is a graduate of the University of Akron with an Associate’s Degree in Commercial Photography. She also obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Malone University in 2010 and was awarded the Outstanding Senior Award for Graduate & Professional Studies.
 
Amanda joined Rotary in 2006. She served as Club Secretary from 2010 - 2015 and is a Past President, serving in 2017-18.  She has also served as the Rotary District 6650 Youth Services Chair in 2012 and received the honor of becoming a Paul Harris Fellow in January 2015. Amanda has served on many Rotary committees including: Golf, Member Orientation, Public Relations, Health Screen, New Member Project, Rotary Scouts, JA Done in a Day, and Oktoberfest.  
 
Amanda is also an active member and volunteer at First Christian Church in Canton, Ohio and assists with her husband’s pressure wash business. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, reading, spending time with her family & friends and helping her husband renovate their home. She resides in Perry Township with her husband Matthew and two children, Christian & Victoria.
