On February 22, 2019, the Rotary Club of Canton hosted the Four Way Speech contest with students from McKinley High School presenting their speeches on The Rotary Four-Way Test:
Of the things we think, say or do -
1) Is it the TRUTH?
2) Is it FAIR to all concerned?
3) Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
4) Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
The first contestant on that date was Bonsai Freeman, followed by Guenevere Berrie. The third contestant, Averi Allison, could not present that day due to a college visit and will be presenting her speech during THIS Friday's meeting.
The judges for the speech contest are PP Virginia Neutzling, PP Amanda Tietze and Rotarian Gary Sirak. They will tally their score sheets this Friday and determine a winner. This individual will then move on to represent the Rotary Club of Canton during the District 6650 Four Way Speech contest.
