Field of Honor Opening Ceremonies

  ~ OPENING CEREMONIES will take place on at the Field of Honor® in the event tent at the San Gabriel Park Activity Field at 2:00 p.m.  Don’t miss this exciting event filled with music by Leit Motif A-Capella Singers, and the 1st Cavalry Band from Fort Hood.  Enjoy the deeply moving Fort Hood color guard along with a joint services color guard, Boy Scouts, JROTC, a 21 gun salute and taps by our Georgetown Police Department, Georgetown Fire Department’s Pipes and Drums, Georgetown High School’s Marching Band, the Patriot Guard Riders, fly-overs, a display of military vehicles presented by the Military Vehicle Preservation Association, and much more! This will be a great day for feeling patriotic and grateful for our country, our military and first responders, and our flag!
