Nirmal was the driving force behind our Club when we started meeting as a Provisional Club in the Fall of 2007. She was also our first President when we chartered. Her primary community goal was to establish a shelter for abused immigrant spouses and children. Support of women and children both locally and internationally is still a major focus of our Club. Nirmal is now an Assistant Governor with District 5370.

Have a look through some of the photographs from a great day in June when as a club we feed and organised soccer for 300 inner city under privileged children of Edmonton. Every single child walked away with a soccer ball donated from Tim Hortons, a full belly courtesy of the hard working Rotarians and a day of happy memories.

Each year since 2008 our Club has joined with the owners of the Milbourne Laundromat in preparing and serving Thanksgiving dinner for up to 1000 people from the local area. We also contribute financially and have received both monetary and in kind contributions from individuals and companies to help put on this event.
Join us October 8,2012. This event has been ongoing for some 15-20 years.

Sponsored by Rotary Club of Edmonton Southeast, the competition was participated by Filipino foreign worker chefs and local Canadian chefs.
