32nd Special Day for Special Kids

Scottsdale Sunrise Rotary hosted its 32nd annual Special Day for Special Kids on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park.
 
The event is designed to honor and provide a fun day for special needs children and their families. It is totally free for the kids and their families, the admission, the rides, the fair and the food are offered by Scottsdale Sunrise Rotary Club.

The 2018 event will be on Saturday, February 24. 2018 at McCormick Stillman Railroad Park.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
The event provides free train and carousel rides, Bouncy Things, petting zoo, pony rides, games with prizes, hot dogs, chips, ice cream, and beverages for all. 
 
In addition, Raising Special Kids, Ronald McDonald, , Howler from the Coyotes,  Big Red from the Cardinals. Liberty Wildlife, The Herpetological Society, Scottsdale Boy Scouts #649 & #30, Visits to the Mechanical Society Train Museum and Live Steamers helped make the event a success.
 
Booths with games and face painting which adds to the fun and enjoyment by all. In addition, our Interact Clubs at Saguaro High School and Notre-Dame participated in the game booths.  Food and beverages are donated by Albertson's, Frito-Lay, Shamrock Foods, Redi-Ice, Gatorade-Pepsico, BHHS Legacy Foundation. 
 
2016 attendance of approximately 2,200 and we were blessed with perfect weather.
