Lt. Michael Danyov of the Bluffton Police Department and Ginger Marshall, Public Information Officer of the Beaufort County EMS will share hurricane preparedness tips for newcomers and long-time residents of the Lowcountry. Come with your questions!

Lieutenant Mike Danyov
Support Division/Emergency Manager
Lieutenant Mike Danyov began his law enforcement career with the Bluffton Police Department in 2010 as a Patrol Officer. In 2020 he was promoted to Lieutenant and became the Town’s Emergency Manager. He is the current interim Emergency Manager and oversees the Support Division. Lieutenant Danyov originally hails from Florida where he had multiple opportunities to prepare for hurricanes.

Virginia (Ginger) Marshall

Public Information Officer, Beaufort County EMS

Ginger Marshall has been a Paramedic with Beaufort County since 2007.  Hailing from the Washington, D.C. area, she and her husband moved here full time in 2009 after his retirement from United States Air Force.  Ginger began her new position as Public Information Officer for Beaufort County EMS in April 2022.
