An Evening of Erudition; de Tocqueville

An Evening of Erudition in the de Tocqueville Tradition...

In order to participate you must read the book, The Undeserving Poor, Katz.

The evening unfolds with a wee bit of single malt Scots Whisky tasting/ sampling -- or if you prefer, wine or water.  Please bring a bottle of you very best, most of which will return home with you -- this is just tasting/ sampling.

We then engage in a very respectful, erudite discussion regarding the topic explored in the book.  The most important element here is to LISTEN as opposed to defending your own position.

After sufficient erudition and listening we adjourn to some pretty good food and drink -- and some Monday Night Football should your heart desire -- or further conversation -- and/or cigars on the patio.

The evening concludes when Kurt and Joann tell us to leave.  It's fun, lots of fun!
