Congressman McCaul Representative to Speak at Rotary Thursday

 

Brenham, Texas, March 16, 2015: Blaine Fulmer, Regional Director for Congressman Michael McCaul, will be in Brenham Thursday to address the Rotary Club of Washington County. McCaul is Chairman of the House Committee on Homeland Security and represents the 10th Congressional District of Texas that includes Washington County. Fulmer will be speaking on the latest activities of the Congressman’s office.

 

The public is invited to the Thursday meeting, March 19th from 12:00 noon to 1:00 at Cannery Kitchen, 314 E. Alamo Street in Brenham. Non-Rotarians who wish to attend should check in at the Rotary table just inside the dining hall. Admission is free and a $10 fee will cover lunch, if desired.

 

Blaine is the Austin-area Regional Director for Congressman McCaul.  She received a B.A. in Political Science from Southern Methodist University.  After graduation, Blaine got her start in politics as a volunteer for Jon Huntsman's 2012 Presidential campaign and as Intern for Congressman Ted Poe.  She was then hired as a Field Director for the Republican Party of Virginia for the 2013 Governor's race.  Blaine has been working in Austin for Congressman McCaul for a year and a half and has been thoroughly getting to know the constituents of Texas' 10th Congressional District.
