Boy Scouts of America

Tara Schoonover is from Mobile, AL. She attended the University of Alabama, where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, majoring in Marketing. She has worked with several non profits including Ronald McDonald House and the American Heart Association. In 2012, she began working for the Boy Scouts of America National Capital Area Council, which serves Scouts living in the DC Metro Area, Southern Maryland, and Northern Virginia. Tara served over 2000 scouts living in Fairfax County Virginia. In October of 2014, she moved to Houston, and began working for the Boy Scouts of America, Sam Houston Area Council. Tara serves over 1000 scouts living in the Richmond, Rosenberg, Fulshear, and Needville Community, known as the Brazos District.  She is married to her husband, David, and they have a Shichon puppy named Teddy.
