Speaker- Mike Martin

Born in Phoenix, AZ. Grew up a military brat and lived all over the USA, France, and Morocco. Went to three high schools in three different states.

Graduated from high school and immediately started at university and received a draft notice. 

I attended Navy Officer Candidate School, was assigned to the Navy Supply Corps. Upon completion of supply school, I received orders to go to Vietnam. I was assigned to the Freight Operations Division as a Freight Expedite Officer.

When I finished the one year tour in Nam, I spent a year at Station Navy Supply Officer at a Marine Air Station then transferred to Davis Monathan Air Force Base, Tucson, AZ.

I got out of Navy in April, 1972 and entered the corporate world. Left them in 2013...Now semiretired working in the health and wellness industry.

During my time in the corporate world I was greatly interested in small business ownership.  My being infected with Agent Orange  caused me to create my Crusade to educate all on living healthy lifestyles with RX drugs.  

During all my time since leaving the Navy, I have become heavily involved in the Veterans community to educate not only veterans but all about the reality of veterans benefits and living history lessons about my time served in Vietnam. I will be presenting factual information not perceptions about the Vietnam War.  I will also be giving a short update on the Vietnam Memorial Wall and a new Vietnam Memorial right here in Houston Texas
