District 5890 has selected North Shore Rotary Club's longtime member and past club president, Bill Palko, to serve as District 5890 Governor for the 2017-2018 term.
 
 
Bill joined Rotary in June of 2005, has been deeply committed to Rotary since day one and has demonstrates that commitment every day.  His achievements in Rotary include, past president of the North Shore Rotary Club, club Rotarian of the year in 2011-2012, past Assistant District Governor of the year in 2013-2014, member of the Bequest Society, a multiple Paul Harris Fellow and a member of the Paul Harris Society.  Bill is a native Houstonion and is current Senior Vice President for Amegy Bank where he has been employed for 18 years.  He and his wife, Debra, have been married for over 36 years and have two children.
