Come have fun with the family...and support KINGWOOD ROTARY at the Alspaugh's Ace Hardware Fourth of July BBQ and Street Dance!

Saturday, July 2nd - FREE BBQ sandwiches, hot dogs, ice cream & Street Dance with LIVE MUSIC by 8 Seconds Band.

Food starts at 6 PM, and band starts at 7 PM.

100% of the DONATIONS will go to KINGWOOD ROTARY since Alspaugh's Ace Hardware selected our club to be this year's recognized community organization!

This is a huge honor.  Mr. Dick Alspaugh was a Rotarian with Charlie Buscemi back in 1994 when they were

fellow members of another local Rotary club.  One day at their Rotary meeting in 1994, Dick had a heart-to-heart conversation with Charlie and said, "I'm not going to live forever, and you need to step up and get involved and start making a difference because attending Rotary meetings doesn't make you a ROTARIAN...being involved with "service to others" makes you a ROTARIAN!"  Charlie respected Mr. Alspaugh greatly, and thanks to his words of wisdom, Charlie got actively involved in Rotary.

Ten years later in 2004, Charlie was the founding member of the Kingwood Rotary Club with many of his friends because he believed our community needed a Rotary club to help make a difference.

The service projects that we do locally and internationally continues to be a way for Charlie to pay respect to Mr. Dick Alspaugh, and his wife, Sue, for their service to Rotary, and the Kingwood community.  Each year since 2004, the Kingwood Rotary Club is the only organization that Alspaugh's allows to have a booth during their 4th of July BBQ & Street Dance, and in turn, we've supported each of the organizations selected to be the recipient of the proceeds of this event.

The parking lot will be rocking as Alspaugh’s Ace Hardware (2720 W. Lake Houston Parkway) kicks of the Fourth of July holiday in style with their annual Street Dance. So get those dancing shoes ready and head to Alspaugh’s and help Kingwood Rotary raise funds for our service projects.

Bring your coolers filled with your favorite family or adult beverages (no glass containers, please), and your lawn chairs!

Here's a look at what Kingwood Rotary Club has done since last year in July 2015.
