The presentation of Paul Harris Fellow is The Rotary Foundation's way of expressing its appreciation for a substantial contribution to its humanitarian and educational programs.
The first Paul Harris Fellow was awarded in 1957, and is named for our founder, Paul Harris, a Chicago lawyer who started Rotary International with three business associates 110 years ago.
We move closer to a world of peace and good will today as Brian Dusablon receives his Paul Harris Fellow, and Bob and Linda MacFarlane each receive their Paul Harris Fellow +2. Their financial gifts to The Rotary Foundation's educational and humanitarian programs is a commitment to peace and to a better life for people across the world whom they may never meet. This is a truly selfless action.
