Our Rotary club participated in a RotaryFoundation global grant for medical equipment in Cucuta, Columbia. Below is an updated report from PDG Gladys Maldonado::

”We visited the Erasmo Meoz University Hospital in the city of Cúcuta, bringing aid through the Global Grant 2569202, Looking to Strengthen the Surgery Room, donating a Fibroscope and Other Medical Equipment, Global Grant, approved by the Rotary Foundation and presented by the Rotary Clubs Logroño in La Rioja Spain  ccD 2202 and the Rotary Club San José de Cúcuta D 4271, in collaboration with the Rotary Clubs:
Badalon a, Barcelona, Catelldefels and El Prat (D 2202),
Cúcuta City of All, Villa del Rosario and Cúcuta II (D 4271), Houston Hobby Area (D 5890),
Miami Brickell (D 6990), 
Palencia Spain ( D 2201) and
Ufenau Switzerland (D 2000),
In addition, the collaboration of FDD of districts: 2000, 2202, 4110, 4130, 4271, 5890.
In a short walk through some corridors of the Hospital we observe with sadness, a very congested Hospital, saturated by the number of people coming there, among them, Migrants, Displaced, the need is high.
