Club raises $11,552.00 for local scholars and charities!

On Saturday, September 19, 2015  the Littleton Rotary Club conducted its annual Lobsterfest. The club’s membership, assisted by numerous volunteers, worked diligently to ensure that each ticketholder got a chance enjoy a lobster or steak dinner, along with side dishes such as coleslaw, clam chowder, and brownie sundaes.

As has been the case in recent years, Lobsterfest 2015 was held at the base lodge for the Bretton Woods ski area, which is operated by the Omni Mount Washington Resort.  This location, with its high ceilings and ample table space, provides an excellent location for Lobsterfest. There was plenty of room for families to dine together. This year’s event drew a large crowd, and many attendees were able to enjoy the warm weather while dining outside.

In addition to great food, attendees had a chance to participate in a basket raffle, which continues to grow in popularity from prior years. Proceeds from the basket raffle were added to those from food sales.

Food sales and the basket raffle at this year’s Lobsterfest raised a grand total of $11,552.00, all of which will be donated to the local scholars and charitable organizations which the Littleton Rotary Club strives to assist.

The Littleton Rotary Club extends a sincere “thank you” to all of the members and volunteers who made this year’s event a success. The Littleton Rotary Club also thanks the Omni Mount Washington Resort for providing a wonderful space in which to conduct the event.

We’ll see you at next year’s Lobsterfest!
