Gilroy Gardens Lumination Festival

Annie Ho is coordinating the next Cupertino Rotary field trip, on October 8 to the Gilroy Gardens Family Theme Park that will be transformed as the sun sets into a dramatic display of spectacular sights and sounds from ancient China.

You will be whisked away to another time and place as you stroll through colossal light displays that illuminate over 2,000 years of Chinese history and culture. These incredible displays—some towering as high as 6 stories into the night sky—include giant dragons, mythical Qilin, and playful pandas, as well as historic landmarks like the Great Wall, Temple of Heaven, and Terracotta Warriors.

Contact Annie to sign-up for this very special evening. Cupertino Rotary has reserved an initial block of 15 tickets. Each person pays $18.00 before Sep. 20th for touring the lumination lights/lanterns and for the show. There will be food stands there people can buy and enjoy. We are also welcome to bring snacks on our own.

We will have car pool at the Quinlan Community Center parking lot from 5 PM to 5:15 PM for the Saturday evening show. This promises to be great fun.
