Job Lane House Clean up

Short notice.

Please register if you would like to help.  Bring water, work gloves and some garden equipment.  All outside.

John Linz :  "It is April and time to get more serious about the cleanup of the Job Lane House  grounds. Fortunately, Roy has given us a head start with the work he did restoring the brick oven and chopping some of the grass reeds around that oven. There are lots of leaves, grass/reed stalks to be cleaned up. I should be able to coordinate with DPW for some of this activity within a week

I have some equipment I can bring to cleanup effort. I have two 2 cycle gas leaf blowere (1 hand held, 1 back pack) that can make short work of the leaves. I also have tarps that can be used to collect the leaves and drag them to a dump site (possibly behind the stone wall behind the house. I’ll also have my “extractigator” to pull small brush out by the root. I may also be able to provide a utility lawn mower to trim some of the newly cleared areas that may still be risky with the DPWs large mowing equipment. (It may be useful to use this smaller lawn mower to trim the area around the brick over, rather than risk oven damage from the large DPW equipment!)"
