Susan Rack, Brookline Rotary incoming President for 2015-16, reported to both breakfast and lunch groups on her experience at the President-Elect Training Seminar held March 13-14 in Framingham.  President-elect and Governors-elect and their Assistant Governors from all over the Rotary Zone came together to learn from one another.  Our Rotary Zone covers the entire Northeast quadrant of the United States and reaches up into Canada.

She met our incoming District Governor, Jim Fusco, and the incoming President of Rotary International, K.R. “Ravi” Ravindran, a member of the Rotary Club of Colombo, Western Province, Sri Lanka.  Susan was impressed by his demeanor as well as his intelligence and passion.  She described him as humble, witty, and eager to learn from the group.  He asked questions, and fielded questions from those in attendance.

Susan conveyed her own energy and enthusiasm for the coming year, and we were inspired by her commitment and ideas for growing and strengthening the club and its good works both within Brookline and beyond.  She particularly wants to stress projects that will benefit our Next Generations.  She takes office on June 25, 2015, at a special meeting of Brookline Rotary,

The theme for the coming year is "Be a Gift to the World."  Susan is already a gift to Brookline, and she is challenging each of us to add our own small light to the world.
