Annette and Inez Lee,the club President attended the Interota Conference in Montreal and Toronto Canada from July 26 through August 1 this summer. This is the Rotaract international conference for young members (18-35 years old). There were 200 delegates from 38 countries, sharing ideas and participating in service projects.

Gary Huang, current President of Rotary International, came and spoke. Clubs from each country made presentations about their projects.Judging from Annette’s presentation and enthusiasm, the future of Rotary is very bright.

Annette and Inez came back enthused about Rotary and Rotaract, and full of ideas to energize their own club as well as Brookline Rotary. Her enthusiasm was infectious.  She is introduced by her proud mother, Marina, and congratulated at the end by Joyce Graff, President of Brookline Rotary. Dr. Karen Jacobs, advisor to the B.U. Rotaract group, was glowing in the audience.
