Christopher Zammitti of the Roatan, Honduras Rescue Mission Trip, a group of doctors, nurses, and students based out of UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester will speak with the breakfast session. Every year, they travel to Roatan, an island off of Honduras, for a week to bring much needed medical supplies and aid to the island's only public hospital. They typically perform about 20 surgeries while there but their main contribution comes in the form of paying for patients' surgeries and bringing new technology, supplies, and practices to the underfunded hospital and its doctors.

They work in conjunction with the Westborough Massachusetts Rotary Club as well the Rotary Club in Roatan to raise money and help deliver supplies. Their trip this year will be from May 16th to May 23rd.  Christopher will tell us more about their project.
