Perrysburg Rotary e-Bulletin for July 28, 2016

On Friday, July 22nd we had the honor of welcoming District Governor Do Nguyen as our guest speaker for the week. In addition to his guest speaking duties, he also met with our Board of Directors to discuss our upcoming goals for the year.

During DG Nguyen's speech, we were able to get a first hand account of his many travels and how he made Northwest Ohio his home. Joining Rotary in 1995, DG Nguyen has had the wonderful experience of participating in many trips to Guatemala, Vietnam, Singapore, Japan, South Korea, and Cambodia on behalf of Rotary. During the 2004 - 2005 Rotary year, DG Nguyen became President of the Maumee Rotary and was instrumental in getting the Maumee Rotary Centennial Pavilion at Side Cut Metro Park built. Our Annual Database Cleanup is underway! Thank you to all those who have taken the opportunity to login and update their personal information. A reminder e-mail will be sent out early next week to all those who have yet to have the opportunity to update their information on ClubRunner.

The weather looks perfect for this the Rotary Club of Waterville's Blues, Brews and Brats Street Festival. Join the fun and festivities on Saturday, July 30th where they will have great entertainment, food and fun for all! Doors open at 6!
